T.W.O. - Yamaha SR500 Tracker by Short Cut Choppers

It was 2006 when Tjeerd Plug first established Short Cut Choppers, a custom workshop located in the Netherlands. Since then they have been modifying, building and selling choppers, bobbers and trackers. Their style is Japanese and the older traditional style of chopper building.
This Yamaha SR500 Tracker is a great example of their work. Based on a 1999 Yamaha SR500, the bike features a standard 499cc single with improvements to the the breathing by way of a K&N filter and Megaton exhaust system. The frame was shaved and the rear end was modified to achieve the Tracker transformation. The front mudguard migrated to the rear, finished off with a BT&E 'limp dick' rear light. The handmade electrics box is hidden under the seat pan and there is no battery, only a kick start for this tracker. This bike also features a classic 70′s Elco-style Fiberglass flat track petrol tank.
At the front, the handlebars were donated by a a Yamaha Virago and fitted with a standard raiser, while the bike features a retro looking Bates spotlight. The SR500 Tracker rolls on the standard 18 inch wheels wrapped in Firestone champion deluxe rubber, another nice little retro touch. This Tracker also features a handmade solo seat by Marcel from Miller Kustom Upholstery. Last but not least Bart from KustomBart.nl did the beautiful paint job.
