Round 1 of the Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft championship in Zolder, Holland. The no. 57 car of Markus Höttinger (the Team GS-Tuning Gruppe 5 BMW 320) in Fruit of the Loom/Herren wäscheom livery, finishing 6th in the Division II race.
Many believed Hottinger was destined for suceess in Formula 1, but unfortunately he perished in a freak accident on the 13th April 1980 in Hockenheim at the wheel of his Maurer Formula 2 car.
